Hanoi (VNA)𒁏 – Fifteen Laomilitary officers are attending a training course on archive management held byVietnam’s Defence Ministry Office in Hanoi.
During the course which runs fromMay 3 through May 31, attendees will be provided with knowledge on records collection,classification, management, document digitisation skills along withpreservation and restoration. They will also learn the structureand function of the archive sector in Vietnam’s military as well as experience indata collection and management at archive centres under Vietnam’s Ministry ofDefence. Field trips to Ho Chi MinhMausoleum, Vietnam Military History Museum and units of Vietnam People’s Navyand Military Zone 3 will take place during the course.-VNA

It is also a moment for Vietnam’s media to accelerate its progress and figure out what the “revolutionary press” means in a new era.
From “Thanh nien”, Vietnam’s first revolutionary newspaper founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc (later President Ho Chi Minh) on June 21, 1925, the revolutionary press has remained devoted to its sacred missions -accompanying the nation, serving the Fatherland, and working for the people.
