Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s national men’s football team dropped fourspots to 125th place in the latest FIFA rankings.

In the Southeast Asian region, Vietnam ranked second with 265 points,after the Philippines, world No 118, with 280 points.

Although Thailand climbed six steps to world No 132, they are still third inthe region, with 230 points.

Notably, Laos dropped the most, from world No 162 to No 184.

In Asia, Iran climbed two steps to world No 32, with 798 points. Australia,world No 39, and Japan, world No 55, are the runners-up.

Meanwhile, Germany still led the world rankings, followed by Braziland Portugal.-VNA

🍃 Vietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s Intergovernmental Committee
