NA Vice Chairwoman Ngan made the affirmation on October 31 in Hanoiduring her meeting with visiting Israeli Minister of Agriculture andRural Development Yair Shamir.
She asked both sidesto increase exchanges of delegations at all level, share experience inparliamentary work, and strengthen people-to-people exchange so as topush up mutual understanding between the two legislative bodies andpeoples.
The NA Vice Chairwoman also voiced herhopes that Israel will continue to support Vietnam in high-techand bio-technology application in agriculture.
Forhis part, Minister Shamir said his visit aims to discuss ways to fosteragricultural cooperation between the two countries, in parallel withtalking with Israeli strategic firms in Vietnam .
He highlighted cooperation in agriculture, especially high-techagriculture, which always plays an important role in the two sides’relations, asserting that Israel will continue to help Vietnam improveworkers’ professional knowledge as well as apply advanced techniques sothat it can obtain higher output.
He also expressedhis delight at expanding cooperation in education and pharmaceuticalsin order to contribute to improving Vietnam-Israel bilateral ties.-VNA
