The opening of the 19th Congress of the CPC (Source: Xinhua/VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – The Party, State and people ofVietnam always value the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership withChina, said the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) inits message of congratulations recently sent to the Communist Party of China (CPC)on the occasion of the Party’s 19th Congress.
The CPV Central Committee expressed delight at greatachievements that the Chinese people have reaped over the past years under thesound leadership of the CPC Central Committee led by General Secretary XiJinping.
“We believe that the CPC’s 19th Congress willdevise important policies and sound orientations for the Chinese people to successfullyachieve the goal of developing a well-off society on the occasion of the 100th founding anniversary of the CPC, towards the goal of building a modern, strong,democratic, civilised and harmonised socialist country in celebration of the100th founding anniversary of the People’s Republic of China,” saidthe message.
Vietnam and China are two close neighbouring countries witha long-standing tradition of friendship. The CPV and CPC stood side by side togetherto overcome challenges in the past struggle for national liberation in the twocountries.
“The Party, State and people of Vietnam always bear in mind valuable support ofthe Party, State and people of China,” it said.
Vietnam is ready to make continuous efforts to strengthenrelations between the two Parties and countries in the motto of “friendlyneighbourliness, comprehensive cooperation, long-lasting stability and lookingforwards to the future” and the spirit of “good neighbours, good friends, goodcomrades and good partners” for basic and long-term interests of the two countries’people as well as for peace, stability, cooperation and development in theregion and the world, according to the message.
