Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese archers have broughthome seven gold medals to rank first in the medal tally at Singapore ArcheryOpen 2022.
Archers Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhi and Do Thi Nguyet Anhchampioned the women’s doubles single-string event. Nhi also claimed her secondgold medal in the women’s single event.
Vietnam also won golds in the men’s singles single-stringand three-string, the men’s triples single-string and three-string, and thewomen’s triple three-string events.
Twelve Vietnamese archers competed in this year’s tournamentwhich took place from September 9 – 11. It was the first international archery tournamentVietnam had joined after SEA Games 31./.
Indonesian athletes have asserted their dominance over single-string archery at the ongoing SEA Games 31 by winning four of the five gold medals in this category.
Nguyen Trong Nha Uyen has made history for Vietnam’s dancesport by clinching a bronze medal in the solo Latin category at the WDSF World Championship 2025 in Germany.
