Vietnam, China to hold border defence friendship exchange
The third Vietnam-China Border Defence Friendship Exchange will be held from March 28 to 31 between the northern province of Lang Son and the Chinese southern province of Guangxi.

Hanoi (VNA) – The third Vietnam-China Border Defence Friendship Exchange will be held from March 28 to 31 between the northern province of Lang Son and the Chinese southern province of Guangxi.
Defence Minister General Phung Quang Thanh and Chinese Defence Minister Senior Lieutenant General Chang Wan Quan will co-chair the programme.
The event is designed to consolidate friendship and solidarity between local armies, people and border security forces of the two countries.
A series of activities including visits to several border guard’s units, bilateral patrols, and an inaugural ceremony for a Vietnam-China Border Friendship Culture House in Chi Ma hamlet in Loc Binh district will also be held during the event.-VNA

The show, together with a grand parade to be held silmutaneously at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi, will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, the National Day, and the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA).
