Quang Ninh (VNA) – The 2017Vietnam-China International Trade and Tourism Fair opened in Mong Cai city of Vietnam’snorthern Quang Ninh province on December 1.
The fair features more than 450 booths,including more than 300 from Vietnamese businesses, 122 from Chinese firms, and16 from Thai companies.
The fair is divided into five sections whichintroduce the socio-economic achievements of Mong Cai city, other localitiesand businesses of Vietnam and China. They also display tourism products andservices of the two countries, goods produced under the One Village – OneProduct programme in Quang Ninh, and a wide range of other products.
An investment, trade and tourism promotionconference, a workshop on fruit export via Mong Cai and Dongxing border gates,and cultural and sports exchanges will also take place during the fair.
The Vietnam-China International Trade and Tourism Fair isheld annually on a rotational basis between Mong Cai city and Dongxing city ofChina’s Guangxi province. This year’s event, the 12th edition, will lastthrough December 7.-VNA
