Vietnam, Cambodia military hospitals foster cooperation

Hanoi (VNA) – A delegation from Preah Ket Mealea Hospital of Cambodia’s RoyalArmy led by its Deputy Director Lieutenant General Chao Sambath paid a workingvisit to Military Hospital 175 run by the Ministry of Defence of Vietnam onJanuary 22.

During the visit, thetwo sides briefed each other on their operations and discussed the outcomes oftheir coordination in personnel training as well as hospital admission and treatmentfor Cambodian officers over the years.

The Cambodiandelegation highly valued the support in all fields that Military Hospital 175has given to the Cambodian military hospital throughout decades.

They sought measuresto enhance the efficiency of their cooperation in personnel training and the admissionof patients sent from Preah Ket Mealea Hospital to Military Hospital 175 fortreatment.

They also discussedways to increase in-depth technology transfer between the two hospitals.

On the occasion, theleader of the Preah Ket Mealea Hospital also extended New Year wishes todoctors and officials of Military Hospital 175 on the occasion of the upcomingtraditional New Year of Vietnam.-VNA
