Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam calls for all related parties to restrainand implement denuclearisation on the Korean Peninsula through peaceful measures,the Foreign Ministry’s Spokeswoman Le Thi Thu Hang said on September 5.
Hang made the statement in response to reporters’ queries on theDemocratic People’s Republic of Korea’s sixth nuclear test on September 3, sayingthat the test seriously violated resolutions of the United Nations SecurityCouncil.
“Vietnam’s consistent viewpoint is to oppose all actions that complicatethe situation and threaten peace, security and stability in the region and theworld,” she stressed.
The spokeswoman also highlighted the need for all parties to strictlyabide by relevant resolutions issued by the United Nations Security Council.-VNA
Vietnam is deeply concerned about the continuous launch of inter-continental ballistic missile by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) on July 28, said Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson.
