Vietnam attends int’l peace forum

Vietnam has attended an international forum on peace, friendship, and development in Russia’s Republic of Bashkortostan, with the participation of more than 500 officials, public figures, and experts from many nations.

Moscow (VNA) – Vietnam has attended an internationalforum on peace, friendship, and development in Russia’s Republicof Bashkortostan, with the participation of more than 500 officials, publicfigures, and experts from many nations.

The event was held by Russia's International Fund – TheWay for Peace from June 1-4 on the occasion of the 100th founding anniversary of the Soviet Unionand the Year Of Cultural Heritage of Peoples of Russia 2022.

Joining the plenary session, Nguyen Quoc Hung, Director ofthe Russian-Vietnamese cooperation development fund "Tradition andFriendship", delivered a presentation on late Vietnamese President Ho Chi Minh’sthoughts on peace, friendship and development, considering them a solidfoundation of the Vietnam-Russia cooperation.

Hung emphasised that the President was the one who laid thefoundation and worked hard to cultivate the nations’ friendship.

Director of the Russian International Fund and head of theforum’s organising board, Professor Dr. Irina Umnova spoke highly of the cooperationwith Vietnam.

She said since 2012, the fund has collaborated with Vietnamacross diverse fields, including education, science, and culture.

The forum also featured international and domesticroundtable discussions on security and sustainable development, green economy,cultural heritage preservation, and protection of families and children, amongother topics./.

🧔 Thailand records strongest export growth since early 2022
