Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam is participating in the 37th India InternationalTrade Fair (IITF) held in New Delhi as a partnercountry. Speaking atthe opening ceremony on November 14, Indian President Ram Nath Kovind describedVietnam as a pillar in India’s Act East Policy. He expressedhis belief that the IITF, which lasts till November 27, will help reinforce thebilateral trade relations. Meanwhile,India’s Minister of Trade Suresh Prabhu highlighted Vietnam as an importanttrade partner of India. According tothe Vietnam Customs, two-way trade reached 5.62 billion USD in the first ninemonths of 2017, a year-on-year rise of 43.4 percent.
