The Vietnamese officer affirmed that Vietnam, together with other ASEAN countries, has worked closely with the law enforcement bodies of ASEAN dialogue partner countries - China, Japan and the Republic of Korea (RoK) - in fighting transnational crimes through sharing information and experience; coordinating in verifying, investigating and arresting suspects and offenders; and hunting criminals.

The Vietnamese minister called on ASEAN dialogue partner countries to effectively use the ASEAN+3 Cooperation Fund to implement transnational anti-crime projects, promote training cooperation programmes and expand ASEAN+3 cooperation mechanisms in the field. He hoped that commitments agreed upon at the meeting would be implemented strictly and effectively by all sides , contributing to ensuring security and order in all countries.
