Hanoi (VNA) - ℱHead coach Park Hang-seo has announcedthe 23-man squad of Vietnam which will compete at the upcoming AFC U23 AsianCup qualifiers.
Three players that did not make their name onto the list include defenders Doan Anh Viet and Cao Tran Hoang Hung and midfielder Nguyen Van Minh. This time, the Vietnam’s U23 team comprises three goalkeepers,seven defenders, eight midfielders and five forwards.

The team travelled to Kyrgyzstan from the United ArabEmirates late October 20 (UAE time). On the same day, the Asian Football Confederation announced changesin match schedule of Group I, which will be held in Bishkek city of Kyrgyzstanat 5pm (Vietnam time). Vietnam will play Chinese Taipei on October 27 and Myanmaron November 2./.
Vietnam will have to compete against only Myanmar and Chinese Taipei in Group I of the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2022 qualifiers following a redraw at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on August 11.

Vietnam U23 football team defeated Kyrgyzstan 3-0 in a friendly match on October 17 , the second of its kind ahead the upcoming AFC U23 Asian Cup qualifiers.
The ambassador noted that among the 300,000 Vietnamese residing in the RoK, around 3,000 are living in Pyeongtaek and contributing actively to the local economy. Ho expressed his hope that the local authorities will continue support the overseas Vietnamese community in the city.
