Hanoi (VNA) – National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines said ༒on March 27 that it haslaunched a new air route connecting Nha Trang city in the central coastalprovince of Khanh Hoa with Seoul capital city of the Republic of Korea (RoK).
The airline will operate four flightsper week with Airbus A321 aircraft to meet the increasing travel demand ofpassengers between the two countries. The new route marks an important step inthe implementation of a cooperation deal on trade, tourism and aviationpromotion signed between the provincial People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa andVietnam Airlines. Luu Anh Tuan, head of the VietnamAirlines Branch in the RoK, said the carrier opened the first flight linking HoChi Minh City with Seoul in 1993.
He said the freshly-launched flight is the fourth air routelinking a locality of Vietnam with Seoul after the Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City/DaNang – Seoul routes, raising the total flights per week between Vietnam and theRoK to 53.
The flights from Cam Ranh airport iᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚn Nha Trang city will depart at 21:35 onTuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, while those from Incheon airportin Seoul will take off at 6:20 (local time) on Mo🌟ndays, Wednesdays, Thursdays andSundays. The flight duration will take five hours each way.-VNA

The Ministry of Transport (MoT) will transfer its rights to purchase shares additionally issued by the Vietnam Airlines Corporation through auction at the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
