Twice a week, small children in Vi Thanh city, the Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang, come to Po Thi Rang Say (Tram Cua) Pagoda to enroll in a free English class that gathers about 20 ethnic minority students.
The Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang, boasting strategic geographical location in the southwestern region, should capitalise on its strengths for fast and sustainable growth, making contributions to the region and country’s development, President Vo Van Thuong said on January 1.
Secretary of the Hau Giang Party Committee Lu Van Hung has told Finnish Ambassador to Vietnam Kari Kahiluoto that the Mekong Delta province hopes for cooperation from Finnish firms in socio-economic development planning, e-government building, smart city, and green and renewable energy developing.
The Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang should invest over 3.5 trillion VND (150.5 million USD) in 22 projects in order to develop tourism services, improve the transport system, and support tourism activities towards 2025, advised Ngo Son Tung, who represents the consultation company for a project to boost the province’s tourism by 2020, with vision towards 2025.
Vi Thanh city in the Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang is in need of over 3.3 trillion VND (150 million USD) to build infrastructure to enhance its resistance against climate change.
