Washington DC (VNA) – US President DonaldTrump appreciated steps of development in the US-Vietnam ComprehensivePartnership when receiving a letter of credentials handed over by VietnameseAmbassador Ha Kim Ngoc on September 17.

Welcoming the diplomat, Trump wished him a successfulworking tenure.

The US President took this occasion to thank the warmwelcome to him by the Vietnamese State and people during his visit to Vietnamand attendance at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Meetingin November 2017, and extend his greetings to Vietnam’s leaders and people.

Ambassador Ngoc also conveyed the greetings by Vietnamesesenior leaders to the US leader.

He said that the Vietnam-US Comprehensive Partnership isdeveloping strongly and dynamically more than ever, driven by mutualunderstanding and effective cooperation in numerous fields, at both bilateraland multilateral levels.

He affirmed Vietnam is willing to work with the US to boostwin-win cooperation, for the interests of the two peoples, and for peace,stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.-VNA
