For his part,Quan held that growth of the Vietnam-US ties over the past two decadeshave brought practical benefits to both peoples, contributing to peace,stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
He proposed that the US continue strengthening its coordination withVietnam in resolving war aftermaths while fostering broadenedbilateral collaboration. He also suggested that the US House ofRepresentatives support and work for the early conclusion ofTrans-Pacific Partnership negotiations.
