Hanoi (VNA) - As many as106 outstanding media works which won the National Press Awards 2018 will behonoured at a ceremony in Hanoi on June 21 - Vietnam’s Revolutionary JournalismDay.

It was announced at a pressconference in Hanoi on June 13 that the winning works include six A prizes, 24B prizes, 42 C prizes and 34 consolation prizes. 

Ho Quang Loi, Permanent ViceChairman of the Vietnam Journalism Association and Vice Chairman of the Councilof the National Press Awards 2018, said the 13th National Press Awardsattracted 1,810 entries from press agencies and individuals across the country.

Many media works reflected bigpolitical events of the country in 2018 as well as social issues of greatpublic concern, he said.

After 12 years, the National PressAwards has attracted the proactive participation of press agencies andjournalists nationwide. The event aims to honour authors and group authors withexcellent media works.-VNA
