Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam’s U22 football team will play a friendlyagainst Kitchee SC of China’s Hong Kong on August 14, the Vietnam FootballFederation has announced.
The fixture will be played at the Promotion Fund for Vietnamese Football Talent(PVF) Football Training Centre in the northern province of Hung Yen.
The friendly will come during the U22 team's training camp which will be heldfrom August 12 to 15.
Kitchee SC were named champions of the Hong Kong Premier League for the 2017-18season.

Vietnam’s U22 team are set to come up against a number of disadvantages after it was revealed they will play their fixtures on artificial turf pitches during the upcoming SEA Games 30 in the Philippines.
The Vietnamese national football team’s head coach Park Hang-seo has selected 28 players to train together in preparation for the 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 30) to be held in the Philippines later this year.
The ambassador noted that among the 300,000 Vietnamese residing in the RoK, around 3,000 are living in Pyeongtaek and contributing actively to the local economy. Ho expressed his hope that the local authorities will continue support the overseas Vietnamese community in the city.
