Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam’s U20 basketball team will compete in afriendly youth tournament in Cambodia on December 27-31.
Head coach Phan Thanh Canh and technical director Kevin Yukurs have chosen 23players for the event, which will feature Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam and the hostCambodia.
The tournament is sponsored by the International Basketball Federation with theaim of creating a chance for young players to hone their skills and gainexperience as well as train referees and coaches of participating countries.

Professional teams from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Singapore will fight for the regional based 2014 AirAsia ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) Championship from July 16 to October 26.
