Professor Tran Xuan Bach at Vietnam National University, Hanoi has been appointed as a member of the Technical Advisory Panel (TAP) of the Pandemic Fund operated by the World Bank Group (WB) and the World Health Organisation (WHO).

On the list of 34 members of the Global Health Commission, there are two representatives from the Vietnam Young Physicians Association – Dr Ha Anh Duc and Professor Tran Xuan Bach.

Research.com has just released the Best Rising Stars of Science in the World 2023 Ranking, featuring 1,000 leading scientists in the world in all fields. Professor Tran Xuan Bach from the Hanoi Medical University of Vietnam was honored in term of public health.

Three Vietnamese have been named in a list of 1,000 leading global scientists in terms of research publications over the last 13 years.

“Global connection” is what the world is in need, said Associate Professor Tran Xuan Bach, a lecturer at the Hanoi Medical University who has become the first Vietnamese person to win the Noam Chomsky’s Shining Star Achievement in Research Award.

Three Vietnamese scientists have been named among the world’s 100,000 most cited scientists by monthly peer reviewed scientific journal PLOS Biology.
