Top legislator to attend IPU-137 in Russia, visit Kazakhstan
National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan will attend the 137th Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly and related meetings in Russia from October 14-15 and pay an official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan from October 16-18.

Hanoi (VNA) – National Assembly ChairwomanNguyen Thi Kim Ngan will attend the 137th Inter-Parliamentary Union(IPU) Assembly and related meetings in Russiafrom October 14-15 and pay an official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstanfrom October 16-18.
Herparticipation in the 137th IPU Assembly and related meeting is madeat the invitation of IPU President Saber Chowdhury, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of Russia Valentina Ivanovna Matviyenko, and Chairman of the State Duma of Russia Vyacheslav Volodin.
She will latervisit Kazakhstan at the invitation of Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of theRepublic of Kazakhstan Kassym Zhomart Tokayev, and Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatulin.
The events are part of the external activities of the National Assemblyof Vietnam in 2017.-VNA
