Hanoi (VNA) –❀ National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man had a working session with a delegation from the Ministry of Public Security led by Minister General Luong Tam Quang in Hanoi on February 4.

At the event, the top legislator hailed the police force’s contributions to the country's achievements in 2024, underscoring their fundamental role in maintaining political security and social order as well as working alongside the military to protect the nation in the new situation. Against the backdrop, he urged the police force to accelerate communications work on the new regulations and policies.
Looking ahead, NA Chairman Man called for intensified efforts in crime prevention during 2025-2030, particularly in drug-related offences. With 2025 marking the 80th founding anniversary of the People's Public Security Force, he expressed his hope that the ministry will excellently fulfil its entrusted missions, making contributions to the parliament’s law-making work and oversight as well as the national construction and protection. He took the occasion to extend his Tet greetings to all public security officers and their families.
