Hanoi (VNA) – Three Vietnamese artists - Amee,Binz, and Quang Dang –have been respectively named Best New Asian Artist, BestAsian Artist, and Best Choreographer of the Year at the 2020 Mnet Asian MusicAwards (MAMA).
Binz, real name Le Nguyen Trung Dan, 32, was born in CentralHighlands Gia Lai province before relocating to the US. He started earningpopularity in 2017, after returning to Vietnam.
Amee, real name Tran Huyen My, 20, is the youngestVietnamese artist to be honoured at MAMA. Starting her career in 2018 andreleasing her debut album "DreAMEE" in June, Amee has receivedseveral domestic awards.
Best Choreographer of the Year went to Quang Dang, whoseperformance in the "LoveNote" music video impressed judges at the Republicof Korea awards.

The choreographer, surprised at the award he earned, calledit the greatest of his career and expressed his appreciation to audiences andhis teammates at LifeDance dance studio. In February, his gestures and dancesteps based on the "Ghen Co Vy" song went viral in the world.
As a major music event in the Republic of Korea, MAMA 2020honours talented artists for their contributions to musical development acrossAsia. This year's ceremony was held with no live audience due to the COVID-19pandemic.
Earlier, other Vietnamese artists, including My Tam, ThuMinh, Dong Nhi, Toc Tien, Noo Phuoc Thinh and Huong Tram were also honoured atthe event./.
Dong Nhi was named Singer of the Year at the Cong Hien (Devotion) Music Awards organised by The Thao & Van Hoa (Sports and Culture) newspaper of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House on April 16 night.
The Cong Hien (Devotion) Music Awards 2019 has recognized the efforts to renew and experiment new things of artists in various aspects, from composing to performing and programme producing.

Nguyen Trong Nha Uyen has made history for Vietnam’s dancesport by clinching a bronze medal in the solo Latin category at the WDSF World Championship 2025 in Germany.
The ambassador noted that among the 300,000 Vietnamese residing in the RoK, around 3,000 are living in Pyeongtaek and contributing actively to the local economy. Ho expressed his hope that the local authorities will continue support the overseas Vietnamese community in the city.
