All the three new patients returned from France on Flight VN5010 which landedin Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City on October 21. They tested positivefor SARS-CoV-2 while in quarantine.
They are being treated at the Medical Centre in Long Dien district, southern BaRia-Vung Tau province.
A total of 1,069 COVID-19 patients in Vietnam have recovered. There are nopatients in critical conditions. The death toll remains at 35.
Among the active patients, 17 have tested negative for the coronavirusSARS-CoV-2 once, seven twice and five thrice.
Vietnam has gone through 63 straight days without locally-transmitted cases.
As many as 15,260 people who had close contact with COVID-19 patients or camefrom pandemic-hit areas are now under quarantine nationwide./.
