Three COVID-19 cases on March 18

Three cases of COVID-19 were reported in the past 12 hours to 6pm March 18 with two in the northern province of Hai Duong, and one imported case in the south central province of Ninh Thuan, according to the Health Ministry.

Hanoi (VNA) ♈– Three cases of COVID-19 were reported in the past 12 hours to 6pm March 18 with two in thenorthern province of Hai Duong, and one imported case in the south centralprovince of Ninh Thuan, according to the Health Ministry.

The two new patients inHai Duong were F1 of previous cases, while the patient in Ninh Thuan returnedfrom the Philippines. The nationaltally increased to 2,570, including 1,601 locally-infected cases. A total of 2,198 COVID-19patients have recovered, and the death toll remains at 35. Among patients still undertreatment, 37 have tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 once, 18 twice and 63 thrice. Meanwhile, 37,878 peoplewho had close contact with COVID-19 patients or arrived from pandemic-affectedareas are under quarantine nationwide./.

🌱 Sharp tobacco tax hike urged to safeguard youths, community health

🅷 Vietnam, France collaborate in vaccine production technology transfer

Under the agreement, VNVC and Sanofi will gradually implement technology transfers to enable domestic production of several key Sanofi vaccines that are widely used in Vietnam. In addition, Sanofi will support VNVC in training human resources and quality management in vaccine research and manufacturing.
