Bangkok (NNT/VNA) – The Thai government will play host to World Soil Dayactivities on December 5 which coincides with the birthday anniversary of HisMajesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
The organisation of this year’s World Soil Day event will be supervised by theMinistry of Agriculture and Cooperatives in cooperation with RajabhatUniversities nationwide.
Rajabhat Universities will be tasked with disseminating the principles of HisMajesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn and following up on royally inspired projects,according to Wiwat Salyakamthorn, the deputy minister for agriculture andcooperatives.
Wiwat said His Majesty stresses the importance of his late father’s teachingsand hopes to fulfill his wishes to improve the well-being of his subjectsthrough the adoption of Sufficiency Economy Philosophy.
