The Deputy Director General of the Health Service SupportDepartment, Thongchai Kiratihatthayakorn, said that his agency has implementedthe government's medical hub project by participating in a festival in Dhaka topromote Thai medical services, spa services and traditional massage, and herbalproducts.
The festival was held to foster medical andeducational relations between both countries, Thongchai added.
He said the Ministry of Public Health has alsobeen cooperating with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports to accelerate theimplementation of the medical hub project, which was initiated in 2015.
The International Health Division Director,Saowapha Jongkittiphong, said a large number of Bangladeshi people and agencieswere interested in Thai booths at the festival.-VNA
