Officials of the Yala Provincial Administrative Organisation, civil servants,teachers and students, together participated in the mural-painting activity atSatree Yala School.
The event was attended by the award-winning artist, Thanisorn Lertwimol, and agroup of fellow artists.
The objective is to promote equal education for all children and youths. Afterobserving the murals, all sectors will be aware that Thai children and youthsare still facing educational inequality and that their contributions will helpimprove the situation.
Yala province has organised a campaign to monitor, assist and develop youngpeople with limited educational opportunities. Yala is one of the 20 provincesnationwide selected to join this educational project and receive funds to helpthe local children and youths.
In July this year, the project was implemented in Raman, Yaha and Bannang Satadistricts by helping children and youths outside the educational system andthose living in hardship./.
