The ceremony titled “50 Years of Thai-Lao Energy Relations: Stable” celebrates50 years since Thailand and Laos began sharing power through a high poweredelectricity connection. It took place in Talad Tah Sadej community of Nong Khaiprovince.
On the Thai side, participants donned traditional Thai clothing and gave almsby the riverside, devoting their merit to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
An exhibition was also unveiled detailing the area. It will be open for thepublic until December 16.-NNT/VNA
