It is expected that 50.95 million arrivals will enter Thailand inthe period, up 10 percent from the high season last year, with 337,500flights landing on Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, Phuketand Chiang Rai airports, according to Airport of Thailand Plc'sdirector Nirandra Theeranatsin.
In the first nine months ofthis year, foreign arrivals in Thailand fell by 10 percent to 17.6million and tourism revenue slid 7.6 percent to 807 billion THB.
TheTourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) said bookings related to tourismservices dropped 18 percent in August, 12 percent in September and areexpected to fall 6.8 percent this month.
