Thailand: Cold weather draws visitors to North, Northeast

Several tourist attractions in the North and the Northeast of Thailand have drawn a large number of visitors, as temperatures in both regions continue to drop.
Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - Several tourist attractionsin the North and the Northeast of Thailand have drawn a large number ofvisitors, as temperatures in both regions continue to drop. 

In Mae Hong Son province, local and foreigntravellers are flocking to Thung Bua Tong Field at Doi Mae U Kho, a keynatural tourist attractions in the area. The 1,000-rai swamp is located in KhunYuam district. Lotuses here generally bloom from November to December. 

Meanwhile, in Nong Khai, visitors can be seen enjoying a sea of fog at Phu HuaiEsan, Phu Nong, Phu Lon, and Phu Pha Dak in theprovince’s Sangkhom district. Each spot attracts no fewer than a thousandnature lovers daily. The average temperature on these hilltops is about 16degrees Celsius. 

In Uthai Thani province, selfie enthusiasts have checked inat the sunflower field in Huai Pa Pok of Ban Rai district. The fieldis filled with fully-grown sunflowers, an ideal site for photography. 

Meanwhile, four twisters have been spotted near KoLipe in Satun province. The natural occurrence startled visitors and thelocal population alike, but didn't cause any harm to anyone or publicfacilities.-NNT/VNA
