Bangkok (NNT/VNA)– The Thai Ministry of Commerce, together with the ASEAN Secretariat, willorganise a seminar to prepare the bloc for the Fourth Industrial Revolution(4IR).
The Director-Generalof the Department of Trade Negotiation, Oramon Sapthaweetham, said the majorinternational seminar will be held on January 14, 2019, at Centara Grand &Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld, Bangkok.
This event will takeplace before the ASEAN Economic Forum, which will also be hosted in Thailandthis year.
Technology andinnovation have played an important role in manufacturing and industrialproduction. The seminar will assess the ASEAN’s readiness for the 4IR.-NNT/VNA
