Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - Four agencies are expediting the production of skilled workers with expertise in aviation mechanics.

TheMinistry of Transport has sought cooperation from Airbus, TriumphAviation Services Asia, Triumph Structures (Thailand), and SeniorAerospace (Thailand) to launch four training courses, described asaircraft maintenance, aviation communication, aviation structuralmechanics, and ground equipment maintenance, hoping to produce 350skilled technicians on a yearly basis by 2021.

At present, the countryis only able to train 180 aviation technicians a year.

Themove is intended to support the expansion of U-Tapao Airport and theconstruction of an aircraft maintenance and repair center in the EasternEconomic Corridor (EEC). - NNT/VNA
