Thai Son Nam depart for AFC Club Futsal Championship in Thailand
The Thai Son Nam futsal club has set off for Thailand ahead of their participation in the upcoming AFC Club Futsal Championship 2019 scheduled for August 7-18, reported Radio the Voice of Vietnam.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Thai Son Nam futsal club has set off for Thailandahead of their participation in the upcoming AFC Club Futsal Championship 2019scheduled for August 7-18, reported Radio the Voice of Vietnam.
The team will have one week of training in order to make final preparationsbefore the start of the tournament.
To aid in their training camp, the team will take part in friendly matchesagainst strong opponents in Al Dhafrah Club on July 30 and Thammasat Club onAugust 3.
The Thai Son Nam club has been drawn in Group B, which is widely considered to be thetoughest of the four groups due to the presence of Naft Al Wasat of Iraq and AlRayyan SC of Qatar who are viewed as two of the stronger teams in thecompetition. The final team in Group B are rookies AGMK FC from Uzbekistan.

Vietnam came from behind to defeat Tajikistan 2-1 in the group stage and book a place in the quarter-finals of the AFC U-20 Futsal Championships in Iran.
Sanvinest Sanatech Khanh Hoa claimed the silver medal at the ASEAN Football Federation Futsal Cup 2019 held at Terminal 21 in Korat, Thailand on June 23.

The Vietnamese team will gather on June 26 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, where they will train until July 14 before departing for Indonesia for the ASEAN U23 Championship 2025, which runs from July 15 to 29. Vietnam will face Laos on July 19 and Cambodia on July 22 in the group stage.
The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
