Thai police on April 20 arrested a German man accused of making a bomb threat on a Nok Airlines plane as it is preparing for take-off bound for Bangkok.
Hanoi (VNA) - Thai police on April 20 arrested a German manaccused of making a bomb threat on a Nok Airlines plane as it is preparing fortake-off bound for Bangkok.

The man was arrested after he claimed he was carrying an explosivedevice in his carry-on baggage on the plane from Loei province in the northeastto the Thai capital city.

Police have not confirmed whether the bomb threat was fake or real.

Budget carrier Nok Airlines, a subsidiary of Thai Airways, said FlightDD 9705 carrying 83 passengers and five crewmembers took off as scheduled afterthe man was arrested.-VNA
