Thai people have been raising funds in support of victims of a shooting rampage in the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima last weekend that left 30 people, including the gunman, dead and 58 others wounded.

♉– Thai people have been raising fundsin support of victims of a shooting rampage in the northeastern province of NakhonRatchasima last weekend thatleft 30 people, including the gunman, dead and 58 others wounded.

NakhonRatchasima Governor Wichian Chantharanothai said public donations stood at 23.2million baht (around 770,000 USD) as of February 11 morning.  Authoritieswould provide 300,000 baht to the families of each victim as initialassistance, said the governor. He promised that every single baht of the donated money wouldreach the families of victims killed in the shooting spree.

The rampagelasted from 15:30 on February 8 to February 9 morning.
