Techcombank receives 10 international awards

The Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank ( Techcombank) on September 9 received 10 awards presented by four prestigious international magazines in the finance-banking sector, the bank said in a press release the same day.

The GlobalBanking & Finance Review, a globally leading online portal inbanking and finance of the UK, recognized Techcombank as the “BestInternet Bank Vietnam 2014”, “Best Retail Bank Vietnam 2014”, “BestCustomer Service Bank 2014” and “Best Commercial Bank Vietnam 2014”.

At the same time, the Asian Banking and Finance Magazine gaveTechcombank three awards - Vietnam Domestic Retail Bank of the year;Vietnam Domestic Foreign Exchange Bank of the year, and Domestic TradeFinance Bank of the year.

The Finance Asia and CorporateTreasurer Magazine named Techcombank the Best Commercial Bank inVietnam, the Best Cash Management Bank in Vietnam and the Best TradeFinance Bank in Vietnam.


The awards are a recognitionof Techcombank’s constant efforts to modernise the banking system, anddiversify its products/services.


The bank, which marksits 21 st anniversary this year, has built a wide network of over 300branches and more than 2,000 POS nationwide. Its assets are estimated at171 trillion VND (8.14 billion USD)./.
