Techcombank named best retail, corporate bank in Vietnam

The Global Banking and Finance Review, a British magazine, named the Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint-stock Bank (Techcombank) the best Vietnamese retail and the best Vietnamese corporate bank.

Techcombank CEO Murat Yuldashev said the titles acknowledged hisbank’s efforts in advancing banking technologies, expanding branches andfulfilling demand for high-quality financial services for individualand enterprise customers.

It is the tenth time the company has been honoured in the two categories with an international award.

As of March 31, 2015, Techcombank had posted 179.1 trillion VND (8.25billion USD) in assets and was employing more than 7,200 people. Itboasts a network of 312 branch offices and 12,000 ATMs which cater toalmost 3.7 million individuals and 49,000 businesses.-VNA
