Switzerland-based NGO offers medical checkups to Phu Yen kids

The Switzerland-based Children Action organisation on July 3-4 provided free medical check-ups for nearly 200 children in central Phu Yen province to select dozens of them with disabilities for surgeries.
The Switzerland-based Children Action organisation on July 3-4 providedfree medical check-ups for nearly 200 children in central Phu Yenprovince to select dozens of them with disabilities for surgeries.

Children Action will fund all costs for the surgeries.

The children are all under 16 years old from disadvantaged backgrounds across the locality.

For those who cannot receive surgeries, the organisation will provide wheelchairs and crutches.

This is the fifth time the Swiss non-governmental organisation hasprovided disability screening check-ups for local children. Each year,around 30-40 children receive free surgeries and treatment.-VNA
