Hanoi (VNA) – Legislators continue discussing a series ofsocio-economic situation issues, including solutions to sustainabledevelopment, during their working session of the 14th National Assembly’s 10thsitting on November 5.
State budget will be high on agenda as well.
Legislators’ discussion will be broadcast live on VTV, VOV, and NationalAssembly Television.
On the previous day, lawmakers mulled over measures to sustainably develop theeconomy, solutions to promote efficiency of disbursement of public capital, andsolutions to remove bottlenecks for enterprises affected by the COVID-19pandemic.
They also worked on measures to mobilise resources as well as build specialmechanisms and policies to support natural calamity-hit residents; improveforecast of natural disasters; arrange capital for construction of resettlementareas; and ensure water security and safety of reservoir, among others./.
Legislators will debate the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and State budget in 2020 during their working session on November 3.
The National Assembly (NA) on November 3 adopted a resolution relieving Pham Phu Quoc from his position as deputy of Ho Chi Minh City’s NA delegation due to his dishonesty in declaring his profile.

The Chairman stressed the need for stricter fiscal discipline, faster digital transformation, and more efficient management of State budget revenues and expenditures.
