Hanoi (VNA)🐟 – Debris suspected from missing Malaysia Airlines plane MH370 recently found in Mozambique and France’s Reunion Island will be sent to Australia and France for verification, a Malaysian official said on March 14.

Malaysian Minister of Transport Liow Tiong Lai called for patience as experts are carrying out the verification process. He emphasised that at this juncture, it is impossible to confirm whether any of the recovered debris came from MH370.
A piece of debris suspected to be part of the plane that was found on February 29 off Mozambique’s coast has been brought to Malaysia for preliminary analysis. Later on March 11, the South African Civil Aviation Authority said another piece of plane debris was also discovered on the coast of Mozambique. Both pieces will be sent to Australia for further verification.
Meanwhile, the debris recently found in the French territory of Reunion Island, in the Indian Ocean, on March 3, will be sent to France for examination. Flight MH370 disappeared on March 8, 2014 en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people on board. The fate of the plane is still a mystery.-VNA
