Hanoi (VNA)ꦐ – A piece of suspected plane debris found on Rodrigues island, Mauritius will be examined to see if it is part of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, which went missing two years ago.

According to local media, the debris was found on March 30 but local authorities have not revealed any information relating to it.
Earlier, a wing part was recovered at Reunion Island, a territory of France, near Mauritius and Mozambique in the Indian Ocean, and was determined to have been a part of the plane.
The plane MH370 went missing on March 8, 2014 en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 passengers and crew on board. Malaysian authorities said satellite data revealed the plane was off its route and headed toward the South Indian Ocean. A joint search campaign in the South Indian Ocean, where the plane presumably ended its journey, has yet to find its wreckage. Search activities on a 120,000 square kilometre target zone is scheduled to be completed by June.-VNA
