Hanoi (VNA)🔜 – The subcommittee for personnel and settlement of complaints and denunciations under the National Election Council held a session in Hanoi on May 16.
The meeting, chaired by NA Vice Chairman and head of the subcommittee Phung Quoc Hien, aims to review the preparation for the upcoming election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly (NA) and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 tenure, which is scheduled to take place on May 22.
During the event, the subcommittee reviewed the personnel work after announcing the lists of NA and all-level People’s Council candidates.
It also touched upon the settlement of election-related complaints and denunciations by May 12 as well as reviewed all the work it must handle from now to the Election Day (May 22) and post-election jobs.-VNA
Preparations for the upcoming general elections have gone according to plan and on schedule at all central agencies, provinces and cities, the Ministry of Home Affairs.
