Stamp exhibition on Vietnam opens in Bangkok

Bangkok (VNA) – A stamp exhibition with the theme of “Vietnam - endlesscharm” was opened at the Thai Philatelic Museum in Bangkok, Thailand, onNovember 29.

The event is organisedby Thailand Post and will last until December 31.

Speaking at theevent, Vietnam’s Ambassador to Thailand Nguyen Tat Thanh said the exhibitionwill give visitors an insight into Vietnam’s struggle for independence and reunificationunder the leadership of President Ho Chi Minh as well as the country’s post-wareconomic transformation into a dynamic economy.

The ambassadorhighly appreciated the work of the Thailand Post in organising the exhibitionand hoped that the coordination between the two countries’ post sectors willcontribute to the Vietnam-Thailand strategic partnership.

A representativeof the Thailand Post said via the stamp collections displayed at theexhibition, Thai people will understand more about Vietnam, its people andtraditional culture and natural landscapes.

The exhibitsinclude a collection with the theme of “Puppetry”, which was issued jointly bythe posts of the two countries on the 40th anniversary of the Vietnam-Thailanddiplomatic relationship.

The exhibitio꧒nalso provides general information on President Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionarycareer and the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Thailand.-VNA

Exhibition features President 💃Ho Chi Minh as founder of Vietnam’s rev♒olutionary press

The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
