Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam is deeply concerned about the DemocraticPeople’s Republic of Korea (DPRK)’s launch of Hwasong-14 intercontinental ballisticmissile on July 4, seriously violating relevant resolutions of the United NationsSecurity Council and increasing tension in the region.
The statement was made by the Foreign Ministry’s Spokeswoman Le Thi ThuHang on July 6 in response to reporters’ questions on Vietnam’s reaction to theDPRK’s launch of intercontinental ballistic missile.
“Vietnam consistently supports all efforts to promote dialogues andmaintain peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula,” Hang said.
“Vietnam calls on all parties to strictly abide by relevant resolutionsof the UN Security Council and have constructive, practical actions tocontribute to the maintenance of peace, security and stability in the regionand the world,” she added.-VNA
