Sony to continue sponsorship for national football teams

Sony Electronics Vietnam on April 22 signed a contract with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to sponsor the national football teams until March 2021.

Hanoi (VNA) - Sony Electronics Vietnamon April 22 signed a contract with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) tosponsor the national football teams until March 2021.

The company was one of the main sponsors for thepast two years.

Following the new deal, Sony will support thenational men’s and women’s teams and the U23 men’s squad.

Yasuhiro Tsuda, General Director of Sony Vietnam,said football received great support from millions of Vietnamese people. It wasan honour for Sony Vietnam to cooperate with the VFF as a main sponsor since2017, he said.

Tsuda said he expected Sony would help the teamsmake their dreams come true in the future.-VNA

๊ Vietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s Intergovernmental Committee

This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee.
