Featuring a traditional architectural style like other Khmer pagodas🦂 in the southern region, Som Rong, covering 5 hectares of land, includes a main hall, a house for monks, and a library serving local residents.
Among the highlights of the Nirvana-attained pagoda is the giant Budda statue. It is 63 metres long and 22.5 metres tall, and considered as Vietnam’s biggest lying Budda statue to date. The pagoda attracts crowds of tourists, especially on holidays. Visitors come to the pagoda not only to pray for peace but also to experience the uniqueness of the Khmer-style traditional culture and architecture.
