Six imported COVID-19 cases detected on December 11

Six new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the past 24 hours, all returning from abroad, the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control announced on December 11 evening.

Hanoi (VNA) –
Sixnew cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the past 24 hours, all returning fromabroad, the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Controlannounced on December 11 evening.

Of the new patients, three areVietnamese and the rest are a Belarusian expert and his relatives. They are nowunder quarantine Khanh Hoa province and Da Nang city in the central region, andHanoi.

With the new cases, the nationalcount of COVID-19 cases now stands at 1,391, of which 693 are locallytransmitted.

Among the COVID-19 cases inVietnam, 1,237 have recovered while the fatalities remain at 35.

As for those still undertreatment, 10 have tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 once, nine twice and fourthrice.

A total of 20,832  people who had close contact with COVID-19patients or arrived from pandemic-hit areas are being quarantined nationwide,with 200 at hospitals, 16,743 at concentrated facilities, and 3,889 either athome or accommodations./.
