Singapore to increase foreign student tuition fee in 2017

The Singaporean Ministry of Education (MOE) said on October 11 it will increase the tuition fee of international students in public schools since the school year of 2017.

Singapore (VNA) 💮– The Singaporean Ministry of Education (MOE) said on October 11 it will increase the tuition fee of tuition fee in public schools since the school year of 2017. 


𝔉 The second rise within two years will bring the tuition fee to between 390 SGD (283 USD) and 1,300 SGD (943 USD) each month, depending on each level.

The highest increase of 150 SGD per month will be seen in the tuition fee of foreign students who attend preparatory classes. 

The new tuition fee is also applied to children of permanent residents with an increase of 20-60 SGD per month. 

ꦜ For children of Singaporeans, the fee remains unchanged, which is free at the elementary level, 5 SGD at secondary schools and 6 SGD at preparatory schools.-VNA
